Guvs is an independent app for Fantasy Premier League mini-leagues. It isn't connected to, or endorsed by, the Premier League or Fantasy Premier League.
IN A NUTSHELL
Guvs is run by Jan Arnold in the Netherlands, who is responsible for your personal data (the “controller” under the GDPR and UK GDPR). Contact: hello@guvs.app.
Your email address and short-lived sign-in codes
Your FPL team: Team ID, and your name and team name as they appear in FPL
Alerts, only if you turn them on: a push token for your phone, its type (iPhone or Android), and whether alerts are on
Sign-in records: time and IP address
Technical logs kept by our providers (IP address, time, device or browser type)
Emails you send us
Using Guvs as a guest? We store nothing about you on our servers. Your Team ID stays on your phone.
Guvs shows the public FPL information of the managers in your mini-leagues (names, team names, picks and points), the same information FPL already shows everyone in that league. Your phone fetches it from FPL when you open a league. We don't build profiles of other managers or store their details on our servers. Our legal basis is legitimate interests: helping members of a mini-league see what's happening in it. If you're one of those managers and have a question, email us.
Our server also keeps public FPL statistics that aren't about any one person, such as how many managers worldwide transferred a player in each gameweek.
Your login (in your phone's secure storage), your Team ID, pinned leagues and settings such as your alerts choice. Guvs needs these to work, so we don't ask separately. Signing out removes your login from the phone.

When data goes to the US, it's protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by Standard Contractual Clauses.
When the app checks for an update, it contacts Expo's servers and sends technical details (app version, phone type and a random installation ID) so the right update arrives.
Your phone fetches FPL data directly from fantasy.premierleague.com, so the Premier League sees those requests just as it would a visit to its website. Its own privacy policy covers that.
If you test Guvs through Apple's TestFlight, Apple may pass on feedback and crash reports you choose to send, with the name or email linked to your invitation. We use them only to fix Guvs.
The website doesn't use cookies to track you. Cloudflare, which hosts it, may set a cookie it needs for security.

You can also withdraw consent for alerts at any time. Email hello@guvs.app; we'll reply within a month.
Deleting your account: email hello@guvs.app from the address you sign in with, and we'll delete your account and everything linked to it within 30 days. Deleting it from inside the app is coming soon.
Complaints: we'd like the chance to fix it first, but you can always complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl), or in the UK to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Guvs isn't meant for anyone under 16.
When Guvs starts doing something new with your data (for example, if we add analytics), we'll update this page first, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
